A: FROM COLLAR TO TAILReference the diagram, measure from the base of the neck to the tail joint.B: CHEST CIRCUMFERENCEMeasure around the chest in the bulkiest point.C: AROUND NECKMeasure around the neck area, about 1-2 inches further back from where the collar would normally rest.D: AROUND THE TOP OF THIGH:Measure around top of thigh, high up, no more than an inch from where the leg meets the body. Keep tape measure straight.E: AROUND THE STIFLE (KNEE):Slightly bend the knee joint, feel the point of the bone in the front. Start tape measure there and work around the leg. Make sure to keep the tape straight.F: AROUND HOCK (ANKLE)Measure around, just as the knee.G: THIGH TO STIFLE:Measure from the same point you measured around the thigh, work down the FRONT of the leg, to the point where you measured around the stifle.H: STIFLE TO HOCK:Measure from the point on the knee, down the front of the leg, to the front section of the hock.I: HIP TO HIPFeel to the top point of the hip bone and each side, measure straight across the back from one side to the other.
